Democracy Does Not Stop on Election Day | And She Could Be Next
We witness droves of Georgia residents in line to vote on Election Day. State Senator Nikema Williams says that although voters go through the proper procedures to cast their ballots, some of their votes still will not count. However, democracy does not stop on Election Day. At the Fulton County Board of Elections hearing, Williams describes how her niece, on the day of elections, was told that not only was her name not listed on voter roll, but she shouldn’t request a provisional ballot because there wouldn’t be enough for the rest of the voters.
