Investing in their own communities, Mijente shows how all it takes to incentivize voters is to discuss relevant community issues with them in a language in which they’re comfortable speaking. They discuss the anti-immigrant violence perpetuated by politicians, including Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, but how other leaders like Stacey Abrams have stood up for Latinx communities. An organizer voices that while all their work just to be treated as human beings is exhausting, he would never abandon the fight.
