George Washington Carver Finds World Applications for Science

George Washington Carver was known for his ability to find real world applications for his research, notably for identifying multiple uses for peanuts and sweet potatoes, as well as crop rotations.

This segment from Iowa PBS’s George Washington Carver: An Uncommon Life documentary includes interviews from people who knew or were influenced by him. Interviews took place at Iowa State University, Simpson College and Tuskegee University.
