Etowah Indian Mounds | Indian Mounds

The Etowah Indians created mounds for ceremonial complexes which would have been the foundation for ceremonial complexes or houses. Standing approximately 63 feet in height, the Etowah Indian mounds are the second tallest Mississippian mounds in the world.
