Overview of the Flint River | Georgia Outdoors

Georgia's Flint River, one of the largest in the country, originates near Atlanta's Hartsfield Jackson International Airport as a humble series of puddles and streams. The Flint River is home to a number of blue holes, a unique cavern or sinkhole in the water. Experts explain the science behind how this beautiful blue color appears in the water.
