The White House | Unstoppable: The Road to Women's Rights

A student visits Lafayette Park across from the White House in Washington DC.  Although it was the site of a months long protest by members of the Women’s Rights movement and ultimately help lead to the passage of the 19th Amendment giving women the right to vote there are no monuments to the women protesters.  Our student visits with an historian at the White House Historical Association to learn more about the protesters and how they even endured harsh imprisonment for their cause.  The story ends as the student and historian take a selfie at the location of some of the most iconic images from the protests.
