Frank Robinson: Symbols of Hope | Idaho Experience
Frank Robinson: Symbols of Hope | Idaho Experience
Frank Robinson launched Psychiana in 1929, selling hope from Moscow, Idaho during the Great Depression. Psychiana became one of the largest employers in northern Idaho and one of the largest mail-order operations in the U.S.
In this lesson students will be able to describe what Frank B. Robinson was selling and the effects of his business. They will also identify a symbol of hope from the past and the present, and write a short explanatory paragraph describing a symbol of hope.
