Create Your Own Documentary: Government | New Jersey: Then and Now

How does a bill become a law? What happens at the New Jersey capitol building? Create a documentary to inform viewers about the third oldest state house in the country, and other government related topics.

Become an historian by creating your own educational documentary video. We invite you to use the professional footage from the archives of New Jersey Network. In this resource, students will research a topic, write a script, and add voice-over narration to produce their own educational content.

Please note, permission granted from the New Jersey Network and the New Jersey Public Broadcasting Authority. For more information regarding the rights, distribution and showing of the video content, please review the support material section.
