Create Your Own Documentary: Washington Crossing the Delaware | New Jersey: Then and Now

What was the experience like for soldiers crossing the Delaware River on December 25, 1776? What prompted Washington to make such a bold plan? Create a documentary to inform viewers about the Battles of Trenton and Princeton, and how the crossing of the Delaware River turned the tide of the American Revolution.

Become an historian by creating your own educational documentary video. We invite you to use the professional footage from the archives of the New Jersey Network. In this resource, students will research a topic, write a script, and add voice-over narration to produce their own educational content.

Please note, permission granted from the New Jersey Network and the New Jersey Public Broadcasting Authority. For more information regarding the rights, distribution, and showing of the video content, please review the support material section.
