Water on Other Worlds (Virtual Reality Version) | Lesson Plan

In this lesson, students explore the availability and accessibility of water in the solar system. In the context of an imaginary mission to find a site for an interplanetary water station, students will investigate the form, abundance, and accessibility of water on various worlds. They will explore three objects (Ceres, Europa, and Enceladus) in-depth with slideshows and a virtual reality (VR) experience. The lesson concludes with students making an evidence-based argument about the viability of building a water station on these objects.
