In this lesson students will research the ideas on managing the forests to prevent wildfires. The students will also research the history of the Forest Service’s campaigns to stop wildfires including radio public service announcements. The students will evaluate each of the management approaches and then choose the one they believe will be the most effective. After choosing the method, the students will then devise a way to promote that management technique.
