Figurative Language and Foreshadowing in The Outsiders | The Great American Read
In these two activities, students will use S.E. Hinton’s classic The Outsiders to define literary language. In “Language and the Concept of Family,” students take a deep look at the characters apply their findings to create a personality quiz. In “Foreshadowing and The Outsiders,” students will examine foreshadowing in the novel and demonstrate their understanding of its use.
