Jonathan Stovall, a Kentucky educator, came up with an idea of using songwriting and recording to help students understand math concepts. To help in the song creation and recording, Stovall partnered with recording artist Allen Witcher and music producer and engineer Justin Eckerd, owner of NF Records recording studio. The songs soon became hits across the school district. Stovall was soon being asked by students and teachers to create songs on topics across grades and subjects. He started calling the project The New Age Curriculum.
