The Princeton Wasp was a newspaper edited by a man named F. Artemus Pasteur. He was a Confederate soldier during the war. After the war he lived in Princeton, Kentucky. He hated Northerners. He reported some news and events in the Wasp. He also used the paper to make fun of African Americans and Union supporters. Independent papers like this one do not have the same rules as city or county newspapers. So, Pasteur was free to write his own thoughts. This was the paper published on July 22, 1865.
