The Shasta daisy (Chrysanthemum x superbum) is a European native that’s an old-fashioned favorite in flower gardens. A hardy perennial, it grows 2 to 3 feet tall and can bloom from early summer to fall. Shastas have white blooms with yellow centers and dark green foliage.
