The coral bell (Heuchera), also known as alumroot or rock geranium, is a perennial plant that grows from 1½ to 3 feet tall in sun to partial shade. The leaves are edible, and the roots were used by Native Americans as an anti-inflammatory, a digestive aid, and to stop minor bleeding.
