Timber Rattlesnake | KET Image Bank

The timber rattlesnake (Crotalus horridus) is a venomous rattlesnake found in the eastern United States. Although these snakes are highly venomous, they should not be feared. They prefer to hide from both prey and predators and will try to escape danger rather than fight off an attacker.
