Eastern American Toad | KET Image Bank

The Eastern American toad (Bufo americanus americanus) ranges across most of the eastern United States and Canada, from mid-Georgia and Alabama to northern Ontario, and Kansas to Virginia. Though the species is found over a wide area, individual toads stay in the same place their entire lives.
