The bird-voiced treefrog (Hyla avivoca) is found throughout the southeastern United States, living in swamps, wetlands, and brushy areas around water. Its back is green, brown, or grey; it is spotted gray or brown along its sides; and it has a lighter area just beneath its eyes.
