The Community Screening Guide for Tell Them We Are Rising: The Story of Black Colleges and Universities is a tool to facilitate dialogue and deepen understanding of the history, growth, and current challenges facing historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs). The film and guide also offer a different perspective on the pervasive inequities institutions of higher education address. The content is intended to be flexible and adaptable for multiple audiences and formats from theaters, to community screenings, to classrooms.
