Hot Water | PLUM LANDING™

Lead students and families on an outdoor exploration of how and why cities and towns are warmer than surrounding areas in this hands-on outdoor activity from PLUM LANDING. Kids and families make predictions about which neighborhood surfaces are warmer, and then take temperatures of different types of surfaces: sunlit, shaded, natural, and artificial. They then use the data to draw conclusions about heat and water.
