In this interview, 2007 MacArthur Fellow Deborah Bial explains why she developed the Posse Foundation model to increase college access for underrepresented population. Bial’s program evaluates potential candidates using a rigorous assessment process based on qualities such as leadership, teamwork, communication skills, and motivation.
