Immigrant Instrument: The Mandolin | Music Arts Toolkit
Chris Mullins, resident artist at the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame, discusses the background and tuning of the mandolin. Then he plays a traditional tune, “The Lost Indian,” followed by an original medley of three traditional tunes, “Red Rocking Chair,” “Cluck Old Hen,” and “Shady Grove.”
