In this media gallery, meet three leading scientists working in different STEM disciplines, and learn more about what it takes to become a professional scientist. Each interviewee explores a) how they became interested in their field, b) ways they’ve been able to advance research in their respective disciplines, and c) what skills can benefit young people entering college or the workforce.

Also included are discussion questions, vocabulary, and handouts to help students research more about these particular professions, and reflect on their own attitudes towards personal, professional, and/or academic interests after high school.
