Advertisement for Edison Batteries

Edison was a brilliant inventor, but much of his success was due to his ability to promote his products. Storage batteries, the subject of this advertisement, were originally invented in the early 1900s to power automobiles. Edison soon saw a much wider use for these batteries in industrial and railroad applications.This resource is part of the Thomas Edison Collection.
