Thomas Edison's Chemistry Lab, 1910
This historic photograph shows Edison's chemistry lab. In addition to pattern and machine shops, Edison's "invention factory" contained chemistry, physics, and metallurgy laboratories. Out of these well-stocked facilities came findings that led to the invention of "useful things every man, woman, and child in the world wants... at a price they could afford to pay." This resource is part of the Thomas Edison Collection.
