Glenn Curtiss

In 1907, Curtiss earned the title 'Fastest Man on Earth,' when he rode his V-8 powered motorcycle at a rate of speed over 136 miles an hour. It wasn't long before he set his sights on powered flight. Glenn Curtiss helped to develop some of the most important advances of manned flight.
