Clara Cook

In order to keep the sport of professional baseball vibrant and in the public eye during WWII, executives formed a new league - The All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. Clara 'Babe' Cook was a fast pitch left-hander from Pine City, NY. In 1943 she played for the Rockford Peaches.
