MN Original | MN State Fair Commemorative Art

Watch now: The Minnesota State Fair Foundation began the Commemorative Art Program in 2004, using profits from the sale of limited edition posters and art to “preserve and improve State Fair buildings, grounds and educational programs.”

The 2015 Commemorative Art was created by iconic Twin Cities screen printer, illustrator and muralist  Adam Turman, who found inspiration in the Fair’s beloved landmarks and attractions, old and new.

Past editions of commemorative have been created by Mary GrandPré, known for her illustrations for the “Harry Potter” book series; Steve Thomas, who is recognized for his vintage-styled National Parks poster series; and Michael Birawer, a painter nationally acclaimed for his depictions of urban neighborhoods.
