Mentor Moment: SciGirls | Flower Power
Girls benefit from relationships with mentors. Not only can mentors guide the girls through an inquiry investigation, but they also serve as role models, someone succeeding at a scientific career. As a science educator, the mentor takes the girls to look for signs of spring including tapping a sugar maple tree and introducing them to a citizen science project.
