Learn about Thomas Cromwell's downfall in this clip from Inside the Court of Henry VIII. Cromwell proposes a diplomatic arranged marriage between Henry and European Princess, Anne of Cleves. This marriage is the beginning of Cromwell's downfall, as Henry is not attracted to his bride and eventually rejects her. The Duke of Norfolk, Henry's Chief Minister, takes advantage of this situation and puts forward his niece, Catherine Howard, as a replacement, resulting in Norfolk gaining the Kings trust.
