Geoffrey Cousins l Heart Surgeon

Dr. Geoffrey Cousins is a heart surgeon who describes his upbringing in southern West Virginia and Detroit, Michigan, explains why he chose a career as a heart surgeon, and provides advice to students who are interested in a medical career.  Curriculum relates to research in advances in medical care in the 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st centuries and to analysis of data from EKG and EEG testing.  A guided viewing worksheet is also provided.
