See how Al Capone's trial and subsequent jail time were sensationalized in the media, and follow his final years. The IRS investigation into Capone's alleged tax evasion was the spark that ignited a powder keg in the courts. The media covered the sensational trial with aplomb, and Capone was eventually sentenced to 11 years of jail time. However, when it was perceived that his life behind bars was too pleasant, the government decided to make an example of Capone, and they sent him to Alcatraz. Follow Capone's final days after leaving prison, until his death in 1947.
