The V1 Assault on London | Nazi Mega Weapons: V1 Hitler's Vengeance Missile

Learn about the Nazi's first ever V1 launch on London and the campaign that followed. In June 1944, the Allies land on the Normandy beaches and Hitler retaliates by ordering the V1 campaign to start. On the night of June 12th, the regiments set the first ever unmanned bombs. Only one makes it to London. But in the following days 244 missiles are launched and 73 hit London. It is exactly what Hitler wants but too late. The advancing Allies overrun the sites and Col Wachtel and his units retreat
