How Rosetta Will Exit Hibernation | To Catch a Comet: Chapter 2

Rosetta was put into hibernation because her orbit meant she would have to travel very far from the Sun and receive only a very small fraction of energy. As she is powered by solar panels, the team decided to put her into hibernation until it is at a sufficient distance from the Sun again. We learn how Rosetta must find out where it is after hibernation and send a signal back to Earth confirming it is awake. But it must first wake up.
