In this lesson, students will make observations of a teacher demonstration that models a space-time continuum warping caused by gravity. Einstein simplified the treatment of gravity by treating it as if it changed the shape of space. Within this warped space, all objects continue to move according to Newton's First Law of Motion and any apparent change in direction is simply because of changes in the curvature of space.
