Mr. Val Archer, born April 13, 1929, enlisted at the early age of 15. He joined the Army Air Corps and served with the Tuskegee Airmen. Mr. Archer discusses his service as an instrument specialist on P-47s and C-47s, what being a Tuskegee Airman means to him, and his feelings about receiving the Congressional Gold Medal.
