World War II Veteran Fredrick N. David - Private First Class, Marine Corps | Georgia Oral History

Mr. Fredrick David, born in Charleston, Illinois, March 31, 1926, was a Private First Class in the Marines serving with 6th Marines division in Saipan. He recounts his father being in WWI and his brother who was captured by the Germans three times. Mr. David recalls walking through a mine field, house-to-house fighting, and kamikaze planes.
