Rescuing and Relocating Beavers

This video from Nature: Leave it to Beavers highlights efforts to rescue and relocate beavers to areas where the species once lived. The video features Marnie Johnson, a longtime rancher in Colorado, who had beavers on her property when she was a child. The segment highlights the work of Sherri Tippie, a live beaver trapper in Colorado, who removes beavers from places where they are not wanted and relocates them to more rural areas. Tippie explains that beavers are a keystone species and play a critical role in an aquatic ecosystem. The segment ends with Tippie bringing rescued beavers to Johnson's property and releasing them into a stream.
