In this video from the PBS series NATURE, Dr. Greg Burkett creates a custom prosthetic beak for a swan named Sitara. Sitara's beak was damaged in a snapping turtle injury and he struggles to eat and preen his feathers. With the help of the prosthetic beak Sitara's health and well-being should improve dramatically.
