Wharton Inc.

Wharton Inc. was brought to life in 1914 by Theodore and Leopold Wharton. The studio produced over 100 silent films between 1914-1919, but more importantly helped thrust Pearl White into fame. White was a pioneer for women in film and willingly tackled scenes that were often done by males. Wharton productions also featured others strong female leads which make this an essential stop and reminder of how far women in film have come.
