Triangle Fire: Paying Tribute to Triangle Fire Victims

On April 5, 1911, 400,000 New Yorkers watched a memorial procession for the victims of the Triangle factory fire. The deadliest workplace accident in the city’s history, the fire killed 146 garment workers, mostly women. Outrage against the fire changed public opinion on worker safety and rights.
