This module takes us inside informational texts as students explore Key Ideas and Details, Craft and Structure, and Integration of Knowledge and Ideas to experience success in reading informational texts. Informational text is text that provides factual information and explains, argues, and describes a particular topic or event.  Teachers model how to teach students to describe connections between pieces of information in a text.
