Los Angeles artist Sandow Birk describes several of his recent projects, including a hand-transcribed and illustrated project called American Qu'Ran and a large scale drawing based on the American Constitution. Sandow Birk draws inspiration from current and historic events and his work includes themes of social justice. His aim is to shine light on the inequalities and injustices that are commonplace in America and to show that although we seem to think there's this huge divide between different cultures and its respective people, we may have more in common than we think.
