PBS TeacherLine Tips to Evaluate Internet Resources

Tips to Evaluate Internet Resources provides teachers with a list of questions to determine the reliability of an internet source. As technology continues to improve and the amount of available resources online exponentially increases, students need to practice good research skills and understand that not everything found on the internet is true. They also need to be able to determine if a certain website or interactive program fits what they are looking for and while being useful. These questions will help guide teachers in helping students practice this process. A colored card version followed by a plain black and white version are avaliable.
