Taking the Temperature in Sensible Flats | Cyberchase

In this Cyberchase video clip, the cybersquad examines the small thermometer lines without numbers. They observe that the numbers count up by tens and the temperature level is between 40 and 50. Since the red mercury is three lines above 40, Matt mistakenly says that it is 43 degrees. Then, he realizes that the red is more than halfway between 40 and 50, meaning it must be hotter than he originally thought.
