Multi-Step Problem Solving | Cyberchase

In this Cyberchase video clip, the cybersquad tackles a complicated problem by breaking it down into simpler parts. The team wants to know how far it is across the water, so they use known measurements and multiplication to figure it out. Matt observes that there are evenly spaced pilings going across the water. Inez meaures to see that four two-cyber-foot long boards fit between the land and the first piling. She muliplies four by two and gets a product of eight cyber-feet between each piling. Next, she mistakenly multiplies 8 cyber-feet by 7 pilings (instead of the space between them), getting a total of 56 cyber-feet across the water. Jackie catches Inez's mistake at the end.
