Senate Resolution 301 - Censure of Senator Joseph McCarthy (1954) and Resource Materials
This is a facsimile of Senate Resolution 301 - Censure of Senator Joseph McCarthy, passed on December 2, 1954. Senator McCarthy had led the fight in Congress to root out suspected Communists from the Federal Government. In this censure, the Senate deemed his conduct unethical and inappropriate for a member of Congress.
