Under Pressure: A Water Flow Exploration

In this video, explore how children explore the flow of water using sharpened pencils and a milk or juice carton. Under Pressure is a hands-on science exploration for young children and their teachers, parents or caregivers. The video models ways for adults to encourage children's growth, self confidence, problem solving skills, and cognitive development through open ended hands on exploration with familiar materials, such as a carton, water and pencils. Sample conversations that encourage children to discuss their observations are modeled in the video and included in support document activity guide for educators, parents and caregivers. Safety and set-up suggestions are also included with needed supplies list.
