Mixing Two Solutions

Two solutions often need to be mixed together when preparing samples. Learn how to mix two reagents step-by-step.

A lab technician uses a micropipette to pick up the first solution and releases the sample into a tube. After adding the second reagent, she uses the plunger on the micropipette to mix the two solutions together. To mix the material further, she gently flicks the tube with her finger.
